Oldie but goodie, made this recipe again Sunday night, I had an abundance of ripen bananas and felt bad throwing it away. I didn’t follow the recipe to the “T” because I didn’t have any buttermilk/sour cream. I also used two whole eggs rather than an egg plus one yolk and a little less sugar. Still came out tasty! Probably a little more cakey in texture then it should be but that’s ok.
Was bored last night and so made these cookies. Also had two overripe bananas, so it worked out! Mashed up the two bananas and mixed in 3.5 packs of instant oatmeal (maple brown sugar and apple cinnamon flavored). Made 7 big cookies and baked it at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. Added mini Reese cups to a few of them, got hubby to eat one!
